Lindra is Swedish for to soften, to ease. That is more or less the whole brief. We look for well-made objects that take the edge off an ordinary evening — a quieter light, a scent that settles a room, linen that is soft the day it arrives — and we leave out the rest.
We are a small team working from a short list of makers we have vetted ourselves. Nothing we sell is designed to be noticed from across the room. It is designed to be lived with, every day, for a long time.
How we choose
Every piece has to pass three questions before it joins the range:
- Is it built to last more than a season?
- Does it feel good to use, not only to look at?
- Would we keep it in our own homes?
If the answer to any of those is no, it does not make the cut.
Where things ship from
To keep prices honest we ship directly from our production partners rather than holding stock in an expensive warehouse. It means a little more patience on delivery — usually 10 to 20 days — and a lower price for you. Every order is tracked from the moment it leaves.
